Y.O.N.G is partnering with Cameras For Girls https://www.camerasforgirls.org/, a Canadian-based organization dedicated to empowering girls through photography and storytelling, to offer a free online training program. This program is designed to teach participants how to become journalists, improve their photography skills, and gain access to mentoring support.
The training is open to girls who are mature and preferably 18 years or older, and who have the capability to take photos and videos with their own phones or cameras. The online platform includes live teaching sessions every Friday at 8pm EAT (East Africa Time) via Zoom, as well as access to a WhatsApp Community group for networking and support.
